Independent financial advisory with a personal touch
A firm built around a simple idea
Most families are already excellent at what they do in their day-to-day lives. A financial advisor can help them see the big picture and craft the long-term plan for financial security.
Financial planning
We start from your goals and work backwards: a home, an education fund, retiring on your own schedule, giving to the people and causes you care about. The plan is a roadmap for achieving life's biggest goals.
Portfolio management
The portfolio follows the plan. We favor low-cost, broadly diversified index funds and rebalance on a set schedule.
Four guiding principles
- SimplicityLow cost, low complexity investing strategies.
- ControllablesWe don't try to predict the market. We focus on reducing costs, being tax efficient, and aligning to a set risk tolerance.
- Financial EducationWe're all better off when we make informed decisions together.
- IndividualityNo two situations are the same, so no two plans are either.
Advice for the biggest moments in life
A financial plan can take many forms throughout life. We'd be happy to help you think through:
- Structuring an efficient investment portfolio
- Planning for retirement
- Buying or selling a home
- An old 401(k) from a previous employer
- A large bonus or equity award
- Funding a child's education
- An inheritance or windfall
- Selling or taking over a business
- A career change or a move to partnership
- Putting a will and beneficiaries in order
